Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Standard

1. Disarm airbag system as outlined under ``Airbag System Disarming.''
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from blower motor and housing to motor cooling tube.
4. Remove blower motor attaching screws, then the blower motor and wheel assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

Auxiliary

1. Remove third, fourth and fifth bench seats, if equipped.
2. Remove left center bolster trim panel, left lower front trim panel, left rear lower trim panel and upper trim panels, if equipped.
3. Disconnect blower motor vent tube from auxiliary unit housing.
4. Disconnect blower motor electrical connector.
5. Remove blower motor and wheel attaching screws, then remove.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
