Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

NOTE: The passive restraint control module is located under the driver seat.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Passive Restraint Control Module:






2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the two mounting screws.
4. Remove the passive restraint control module.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Check the passive restraint system for proper operation.
