Control Console Bezel

Removal
1. If equipped, remove the armrest.
2. If equipped with a manual transaxle, unscrew the shifter knob.





3. If equipped with an automatic transaxle, remove the emergency override key switch cover.
4. Engage the parking brake.
5. Pull up on the upper half of the floor console to separate it from the lower half.





6. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector.





7. Disconnect the cigar lighter element electrical connector.





8. Remove the ashtray illumination bulb from the upper half of the floor console.





9. Remove the two control console bezel screws.
10. Pull the control console bezel from the instrument panel to gain access to the electrical connectors.
11. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
- Rear defroster, if equipped
- Headlamp motor
- Rear wiper, if equipped
- Rear wiper washer, if equipped
- Fog lamps, if equipped
12. Remove the control console from the instrument panel.

Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
