Floor Console

Removal
1. If equipped, remove the armrest.
2. If equipped with a manual transaxle, unscrew the shifter knob.





3. If equipped with an automatic transaxle, remove the emergency override key switch cover.
4. Engage the parking brake.
5. Gently pull up on the upper half of the floor console to separate it from the lower half.





6. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector.





7. Disconnect the cigar lighter element electrical connector.





8. Remove the ashtray illumination bulb from the upper half of the floor console.
9. Remove the control console bezel.





10. Remove the screw and push pin from both of the floor heater duct covers.
11. Remove the six screws from the lower half of the floor console.
12. Remove the lower half of the floor console.

Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
