Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove the throttle body assembly.

2. Remove the electrical connector and the vacuum hoses from the Idle Air Control Bypass Air (IAC BPA) valve.

3. Remove the four bolts from the IAC BPA valve.

4. Remove the IAC BPA valve and IAC BPA valve gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the IAC BPA valve with new gasket.

2. Install the four bolts to the IAC BPA valve. Torque mounting bolts to 3.0-4.0 Nm (26-35 in lb).

3. Connect the vacuum hoses and electrical connector.

4. Install the throttle body assembly.
