Manual Lever Position Switch - 4EAT transmission






1. Disconnect the manual lever position switch. Connect a Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter 105-00051 or equivalent, between the "GN" wire terminal and the "BK/R" wire terminal on the manual lever position switch connector.

2. With the selector lever in the PARK or NEUTRAL position, there should be continuity between the terminals.

3. If continuity does not exist, make certain that the manual lever position switch is adjusted properly to close when selector lever is in the PARK or NEUTRAL position. Refer to Adjustments

4. Retest continuity with the selector lever in PARK or NEUTRAL position after performing adjustment. If continuity does not exist, replace the manual lever position switch.
