Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Solenoids:






2. Disconnect the VRIS solenoid electrical connectors.

Solenoids:






3. Remove the two VRIS solenoid bracket bolts.

4. Disconnect the VRIS solenoids from the VRIS solenoid bracket.

NOTE: Identify and label the VRIS solenoid vacuum hoses before disconnecting them.

5. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the VRIS solenoids.

6. Remove the VRIS solenoids from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
