Front Wiper Motor

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then isolate cable end with electrical tape, or equivalent.
2. Remove wiper arm retaining nut covers, then retaining nuts.
3. Remove wiper arm assemblies from vehicle.
4. Remove lower windshield molding.
5. Disconnect wiper linkage from wiper motor output arm.
6. Remove wiring harness mounting bracket from wiper motor mounting bracket.
7. Remove four wiper motor mounting bracket retaining bolts, then disconnect wiper motor ground.
8. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector, then remove wiper motor assembly from vehicle.
9. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Driver side wiper arm is marked D. Passenger wiper arm is marked PL.
b. Torque wiper motor mounting bracket retaining bolts to 5-7 ft lb.
c. Torque wiper arm retaining nuts to 7-10 ft lb.
