Rear Wiper Switch

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then isolate cable end with electrical tape, or equivalent.
2. Remove two armrest retaining screws, then armrest, if equipped.
3. On manual transaxle models, unscrew shifter knob.
4. On automatic transaxle models, remove emergency override key switch cover from top of floor console.
5. On all models, engage parking brake, then gently pull up on upper half of floor console to separate it from lower half.
6. Disconnect cigar lighter and cigar lighter element electrical connectors from wiring harness.
7. Remove ashtray illumination bulb from upper half of console.
8. Remove two dash panel control console bezel screws, then bezel.
9. Disconnect wiper switch electrical connector, then squeeze attaching tabs of switch assembly to remove wiper switch from control bezel.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
