Overdrive Servo

DISASSEMBLE

Overdrive Servo Assembly:






1. Remove three cover attaching bolts, then the return spring and rod.
2. Remove servo piston from cover.
3. Remove rear piston rod retaining clip, then the washer.
4. Remove servo piston and seal, then the cushion spring.
5. Remove front piston rod retaining clip, then the cover seal.

ASSEMBLE
1. Install front piston rod retaining clip on piston rod, as shown in the Overdrive Servo Assembly image.
2. Install cushion spring, piston, and washer.
3. Compress assembly and install rear piston rod rear retaining clip.
4. Lubricate piston seal with suitable lubricant.
5. Install cover seal.
6. Install overdrive servo assembly into case, then the three cover attaching bolts. Tighten bolts.

NOTE: Ensure return spring is correctly positioned in case.
