Console: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
1. Open console door and remove container and mat to gain access to two console-to-floorpan retaining screws. Remove screws.
2. Remove gear shift knob (5-speed only).
3. Remove two rear finish panel retaining screws. Tilt finish panel forward and disconnect electrical connectors. Remove finish panel.
4. Remove two front console-to-instrument panel retaining screws and remove console.
5. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
