Piston: Service and Repair
Fig. 15 Piston & Rod Assembly:
1.
Assemble
piston to
connecting rod so that "F" mark on
piston pin bore and oil groove on connecting rod face toward front of engine.
2.
After installing
connecting rod to
crankshaft, check side clearance with feeler gauge. Clearance should not exceed
0.30 mm (0.012 in).
