Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

Park/Neutral Position Switch Connection Guide:

1. Ensure that the vehicle starts when the shift control selector lever is in the PARK and NEUTRAL positions only.

2. If the [1][2]Park/Neutral Position Switch (PNP) is not operating correctly, disconnect the PNP switch electrical connector. Use Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-00051 or equivalent to ensure that there is continuity between the terminals. Refer to the chart to determine proper terminal testing.
