EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL and INSTALLATION EGR Valve Position Sensor Electrical Connector:
1.
Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation valve position sensor electrical connector.
2.
Disconnect the vacuum hose.
EGR Valve:
3.
Remove the two exhaust gas recirculation valve bolts.
4.
Remove the
EGR valve.
5.
Remove and discard the gasket.
6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure. Install a new gasket.
