EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Clean the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve using Rotunda EGR Valve Cleaner 021-0056A or equivalent, following the manufacturer's instructions.

2. Start the engine and run it at idle speed.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve:

3. Connect Rotunda Vacuum Tester 021-00037 or equivalent and apply vacuum.

4. Verify that the engine runs roughly or stalls at more than 8.67 kPa (2.59 in Hg).

5. If not as specified, replace the EGR valve.
