Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect 55-pin electrical connector.
3. Unlock connector by pulling up lever completely, then move top of connector away from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module until terminals are clear. Pull connector up out of slots in module.
4. Remove three ABS module to mounting bracket screws.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
6. Align module with bracket so lever is facing up, and side with two mounting holes is flat against bracket top.
7. Torque screws to 40-60 in lb.
