Temperature Control Lockout Valve/Switch

TEMPERATURE CONTROL LOCKOUT VALVE/SWITCH

Removal and Installation
1. Gain access to the temperature control lockout valve and switch by opening and removing the glove compartment and allowing it to hang.
2. Depress the spring clip on the temperature control lockout valve and switch and pull the temperature control lockout valve and switch out of the heater core cover (1 8B300) located on top of the NC evaporator core housing.






3. Disconnect the temperature control lockout valve and switch from the wiring harness.
4. Connect the replacement temperature control lockout valve and switch to the wiring harness.
5. Install the temperature control lockout valve and switch in the heater core cover. Be sure it snaps firmly into place.
6. Install the glove compartment.
