- Perform ABS Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) retrieval. [1][2]Displaying and Reading Trouble Codes

CAUTION: Be sure to record all codes. Failure to do so may result in improper diagnosis and unnecessary repairs.

- Record all DTCs obtained.

- Are any codes present?

YES -- Starting with the first code recorded, go to the Service Code Index. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- System pass is obtained and no other information is available. Drive test to check ABS system function. If previous action was taken in PC1, concern is most likely resolved. PC1

NO -- System pass is obtained and concern is still present. Go to Diagnosis By Symptom. Refer to appropriate symptom. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- No response is obtained. Diagnostics are not functioning. Go to Pinpoint Test S. S No Response During DTC Retrieval
