RECIRC/Fresh Air Control

In the RECIRC position, the function control operates the RECIRC/fresh air control cable on the rear of the climate control assembly. The RECIRC/fresh air control cable, in turn, actuates the RECIRC/fresh air cam located on the A/C air inlet duct. The cam operates the A/C air inlet door. The position of the A/C air inlet door determines the source of the air that is taken into the climate control system. In the RECIRC position, air is recirculated in the passenger compartment and flows out of the four instrument panel ducts.
