DC14 - Check MAF Circuit For Short to Ground In PCM

- Key Off.

- MAF sensor disconnected.

- Breakout box installed.

- Reconnect PCM to breakout box.

- Disconnect Scan Tool from DLC (if applicable).

- Measure the resistance between Test Pin 88 (MAF SIG) and Test Pins 36 (MAF RTN) and 24 or 103 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- RECONNECT Scan Tool. Go to DC15. DC15 - Check MAF Circuit Output

NO -- MAF SIG shorted to PWR GND or MAR RTN in the PCM. REPLACE the PCM. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT MAF sensor. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
