H46 - Check Continuity of Fuel Injector Harness

- Key Off.

- Breakout box installed, PCM disconnected.

- Disconnect injector harness connector at the suspect injector.

- Measure the resistance between Test Pin 71 or 97 at the breakout box and the VPWR pin at the injector harness connector.

Cylinder To Test Pin Chart:

- Measure resistance between the injector Test Pin(s) at the breakout box and the injector signal pin at the injector connector.

- Is each resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

YES -- Go to H47. H47 - Check Injector Harness For Short to Power or Ground

NO -- SERVICE open harness circuit. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT PCM and injectors. DRIVE vehicle for 5 miles/55 mph. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
