HD12 - Check Fuel Injector For Flow and Leakage



- Refer to Safe Fuel Handling Practices. Safe Fuel Handling Practices

- Verify that the flow rate for each fuel injector is within specification using Rotunda Injector Tester 113-00001, SBDS Injector Flow Tester or equivalent.

- Is flow rate for each injector within specification?

YES -- Fuel Delivery System is not considered the likely area to have caused the Misfire DTC. GO to HD20 to evaluate the Vacuum System. HD20 - Check Vacuum System

NO -- REPLACE or CLEAN the defective injector(s) as required. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
