TE101 - Wiggle Test TFT Sensor Harness Circuits



- Key On, Engine Off.

- Access TFT PID with a Scan Tool.

- Observe TFT PID for an indication of a fault while performing the following:
- Shake, wiggle and bend TFT SIG and SIG RTN circuits between transmission and PCM. A fault is indicated by a sudden change in TFT PID voltage.

- Is a fault indicated?

YES -- ISOLATE fault and SERVICE as necessary. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- Unable to duplicate and/or identify fault at this time. GO to Pinpoint Test Step Z1 with the following data: TFT PID and the list of Possible Causes found in TE100. Z1 - Intermittent Test Procedure
