Shift Linkage: Adjustments

ADJUST
1. Place transmission selector lever in Overdrive position. Shift lever should be held against the rearward Overdrive stop while linkage is adjusted.
2. Raise and support vehicle and loosen manual lever shift rod retaining nut.

Floor Shift Cable Adjustment:






3. Move transmission manual lever to Overdrive position, 2nd detent from most forward position, and tighten retaining nut.
4. Check transmission operation in all selector lever positions.
5. Make sure transmission range sensor is operating properly.
