Windshield Washer Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and isolate cable end with electrical tape.
2. Remove steering column shroud retaining screws, then upper and lower shrouds.
3. Remove electrical connectors.
4. Remove two multi-function switch to steering column self-tapping screws.
5. Remove switch from column.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Torque multi-function switch to steering column self-tapping screws to 18-26 in lb.
b. Torque shroud screws to 6-10 in lb.
c. Check switch for proper operation.
