AIS8 - Duct and Valve Check

Vacuum Motor:

^ Check duct and valve for proper function.

^ When vacuum of 27 kPa (8 in Hg) or greater is applied to the vacuum motor, the door should go to the full heat position. When the hose is then disconnected, the door should go to the fresh air position.

^ Does this occur?

YES -- Go to AIS9. AIS9 - BI-Metal Sensor Check

NO -- Replace the duct and valve assembly.
