Radiator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine coolant.
2. Disconnect upper radiator hose, then remove two fasteners retaining upper end of fan shroud to radiator end tank.
3. On models equipped with air conditioning, proceed as follows:
a. Remove nut and screw retaining upper end of fan shroud to radiator at cross support, then nut and screw at end tank.
b. Disconnect air conditioning discharge line from shroud.
4. Disconnect fan wiring and remove fan shroud from vehicle.
5. Disconnect lower radiator hose.
6. On models equipped with automatic transaxle, disconnect oil cooler lines.
7. Remove two nut retaining top of radiator to crossmember, then tip radiator back to allow clearance with upper mounting stud and lift radiator from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
