Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

CAUTION: On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag system before proceding.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove five shroud screws, then the lower shroud.
3. Remove upper shroud assembly.
4. Grasp switch lever and pull lever straight out from switch assembly.
5. Peel back foam switch cover from turn signal switch.
6. Disconnect two electrical connectors.
7. Remove two self-tapping screws attaching switch assembly to lock cylinder housing, then disconnect switch from housing.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
