ISSUE:

The engine mount rubber may separate on the following vehicles possibly due to degradation of the compound in the rubber:

^ The front motor mount on 1990-91, 2.3L engine, with ATX transaxle

^ The rear motor mount on 1990, 2.3L engine, with ATX transaxle, built before 10/28/89

^ The rear motor mount on 1993-94, 2.3L and 3.0L engine, with ATX transaxle

ACTION:

Replace the motor mount with a revised Front or Rear Engine Motor Mount. Refer to the appropriate Tempo/Topaz Service Manual, Pages 02-03-1 through 02-03-4, for service procedure details.
