Connecting Rod: Service and Repair
When installed,
piston and rod assembly should have the notch or arrow in piston head toward front of engine with
connecting rod numbers positioned as shown. Check side clearance between connecting rods at each
crankshaft journal. Correct side clearance is
0.0047-0.0114 in.
