Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The switch is used to monitor air conditioning system pressure. Switch may be activated by high pressure, low pressure, or both.

OPERATION
When refrigerant pressure goes too high or too low, voltage and current are removed from compressor clutch before damage results to vehicle.
