System Specifications

Cylinder Head Bolt Tightening Sequence:

CYLINDER HEAD TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

CAUTION: Do not loosen all of the bolts at the same time, only work on one bolt at a time.

Tighten as follows:
1. 50 N.m (37 lb-ft)
2. 60 N.m (45 lb-ft)
3. 70 N.m (52 lb-ft)
4. 80 N.m (59 lb-ft)
5. Back-oft all bolts one at a time 2-3 revolutions.
6. Tighten long and short bolts in sequence as follows:
- Tighten to 50-60 N.m (37-44 lb-ft).
- Rotate an additional 180-200 degrees.
- Go to next bolt in sequence.
