Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair

1. Remove left lower instrument panel trim and lower steering column shroud.
2. Remove interlock cable retaining screws and clip, then disconnect ignition/shifter interlock cable from lever cam.
3. Remove steering column retaining nuts and lower steering column to floor.
4. Disconnect interlock solenoid electrical connector.
5. Remove interlock solenoid attaching screws, then solenoid from steering column.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
