Clutch: Service and Repair

Clutch Hydraulic System:

1. Clean area around bleed valve at clutch actuating (slave) cylinder and clutch reservoir cap.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Attach a suitable length of hose to clutch actuating cylinder bleed valve.
4. While clutch pedal is being depressed, slightly open clutch actuating cylinder bleed valve.
5. Close bleed valve, then release clutch pedal.
6. Repeat procedure until air is removed from system. While performing procedure, maintain fluid level in clutch master cylinder. Add only DOT 3 type brake fluid to clutch master cylinder.
