X37 - Check Fan Monitor (FANM) Circuit

- Key Off.

- Disconnect PCM. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion. loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Measure resistance between Test Pin 4 (FANM) and Test Pins 76 or 77 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 20.0 ohms?

YES -- REPLACE PCM. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- SERVICE open in FANM circuit between PCM and splice to Power-to-(Low Speed) Fan circuit. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
