X41 - Check Ground Circuit to Cooling Fan



- Key Off.

- Cooling fan disconnected.

- Disconnect Scan Tool from DLC.

- Measure resistance between the ground circuit pin at the cooling fan vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

YES -- REPLACE cooling fan. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- SERVICE open ground circuit to cooling fan. RECONNECT cooling fan. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
