DT1 - Verify Operator Interaction
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 519 indicates Power Steering Pressure (PSP) sensor circuit is open. DTC 521 indicates a PSP sensor signal malfunction.Possible causes:
- PSP sensor damaged.
- SIG RTN circuit open or shorted.
- VREF circuit open shorted.
- PSP sensor signal circuit open or shorted.
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- For DTC 519, go directly to DT2. DT2 - Check VREF Circuit Voltage
- Did you turn the steering wheel at least one-half turn within one to two seconds after engine ID code?
Yes -- Go to DT2. DT2 - Check VREF Circuit Voltage
No -- Rerun Quick Test.Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
