H42 - Check Continuity of HO2S Heater Relay Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) heater relay removed from power distribution box.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure the resistance between the HO2S heater relay circuit and the HO2S heater relay socket and test pin 14 at the breakout box.

- Is the resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to H43

No -- Service open in harness. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun Quick Test.
