Compression Check: Specifications
AllData Editors Note - Ford does not provide a cranking pressure specification, only an acceptable range.The compression pressure check should be performed with the engine at normal operating temperature with
spark plugs removed, wide open throttle, and the coil pack connector disconnected. Compression pressure should be
170-207 psi.
