Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position Sensor (AT Only):






REMOVAL

1. Turn the ignition switch (11572) to the OFF position.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Remove the RH front fender splash shield (16102).

4. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor electrical connector from the wiring harness.

5. Remove the two CKP sensor screws and remove the CKP sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Tighten the CKP sensor screws to 5-7 Nm (40-61 in lb).
