KF35 - Check ACPSW Medium Pressure Circuits


ACPSW Vehicle Harness Connector:






- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect A/C Pressure Switch (ACPSW) (also known as the Refrigerant Containment/Fan Function Switch).

- A/C "OFF" (to prevent short circuits).

- Connect a jumper wire between the High Fan Control (HFC) circuit and the GND circuit at the ACPSW vehicle harness connector.

- Start engine.

- Does the high speed fan come on?

Yes -- Key "OFF". ACPSW medium pressure circuits are OK. Remove jumper. Reconnect ACPSW. Go to Heating and Air Conditioning to check operation of the medium pressure function of the ACPSW. If OK, return to Diagnostic Routines for other possible causes of symptom. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

No -- Go to KF36. KF36 - Check GND Circuit to ACPSW
