Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL:
1. Disconnect the ignition spark plug wires. Refer to the removal procedure in: Ignition Cable Service and repair.
2. Use a suitable spark plug socket to loosen the spark plugs.
3. Use compressed air to remove any particles around the spark plugs to prevent material from entering the cylinders.
4. Remove the spark plugs

INSTALLATION:
1. Clean the area around the spark plug threads. Install the spark plugs by hand.
2. Tighten the spark plugs to 9-20 N.m (7-15 lb.ft).
3. Install the ignition spark plug wires.
