H4 Check For DTC Repeatability

- Clear all codes. Clearing Trouble Codes

- Key OFF.

- Key ON.

- Retrieve code(s). Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Is Code System Pass set?

YES -- Stop. Concern has been corrected. Go to H5. H5 Verify Integrity of Vehicle Wiring

NO -- Code C1210 still exists. Go to H3. H3 Check If All Steps Have Been Completed

NO -- Different code is set. Go to appropriate pinpoint test. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- Code C1210 still exists and anti-lock brake control module has been replaced.

NOTE: The anti-lock system is disabled with the Rotunda(r) Breakout Box 014-00322 or equivalent installed. Using the Breakout Box For Circuit Checks

Install Rotunda(r) Breakout Box 014-00322. Repeat test step H1 while driving vehicle. Look for any change in indicated continuity (turning on the DVOM beeper will help). H1 DTC C1210 Check Valve Coil, Circuit and the ABS Module

Inspect circuits 532 (O/Y) and 498 (PK) along their entire length from the sensor connector to the anti-lock brake control module harness connector for chafing or any other damage that could lead to any open or shorted condition. Service as required.
