M10 Check For DTC Repeatability

- Remove Rotunda(r) Breakout Box 014-00322 or equivalent and reinstall all components.

- Clear all codes. Clearing Trouble Codes

- Key OFF.

- Key ON.

- Retrieve code(s). Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Is Code System Pass set?

YES -- Stop. Concern has been corrected.

NO -- Code being serviced still exists. Concern has not been corrected. Return to last diagnostic step completed and proceed.

NO -- Different code is set. Go to appropriate pinpoint test. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- Code being serviced still exists and Test M8 is completed.

NOTE: The anti-lock system is disabled with the Rotunda(r) Breakout Box 014-00322 or equivalent installed.

Install Rotunda(r) breakout box 014-00322 or equivalent. Repeat test steps M3 - M6 while driving vehicle. Look for any change in indicated continuity (turning on the DVOM beeper will help). Using the Breakout Box For Circuit Checks

Inspect circuits 514 (Y/R) and 516 (Y/BK) along their entire length from the speed sensor connector to the anti-lock brake control module harness connector for chafing or any other damage that could lead to any open or shorted condition. Service as required.
