Split Bench











Removal


1. Disconnect wiring, if equipped.


2. Fold front seat back forward and remove screws attaching center safety belt to center seat.


3. Remove screws and nuts (one of each on each side) retaining front seat track to front floor pan.


4. Lift the seat and track assembly out of the vehicle.


5. If servicing a front seat or center seat, remove nuts from under seat frame and remove seat.



Installation


1. Apply Caulking Cord D6AZ-1 9560-A (ES B-M4G32-A) or equivalent around front seat track assembly attaching screw and stud locations on front floor pan.


2. If front seat has been removed from front seat back frame, position front seat on front seat back frame and tighten nuts to 18-27 N-m (13-27 ft-lb).


3. Position front seat and front seat tracks into vehicle, secure to front floor pan with the retaining screws and nuts. Tighten the screws to 34-46 N-m (25-34 ft-lb).


4. Connect wiring, if equipped.


5. Fold seat back forward and position safety belt bracket on to center seat. Tighten screws.
