KF57 - Check Additional Relay For Short To Ground

- Key "OFF".

- Low Fan Control (LFC) and High Fan Control (HFC) relays disconnected.

- AC Pressure Switch (ACPSW) disconnected.

- Disconnect additional fan relay.

- Measure resistance between the circuit to the additional fan relay at the ACPSW vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is resistance less than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Service short to ground. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Check if additional fan relay normally open contacts are always closed. Service as necessary. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
