EGR Valve: Service and Repair

EGR Valve:

REMOVAL
^ Disconnect the battery ground cable.
^ Remove the engine air cleaner.
^ Disconnect the EGR valve vacuum hoses and disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
^ Remove the two EGR valve bolts.
^ Remove the EGR valve and EGR valve gasket.

INSTALLATION
^ Install the EGR valve and EGR valve gasket.
^ Install the two EGR valve bolts and tighten to 19-25 Nm (14-18 ft lb).
^ Install the EGR valve vacuum hoses and connect the IAT sensor.
^ Install the engine air cleaner.
^ Connect the battery ground cable.
