With Manual Transaxle

NOTE: The Ignition Control Module (ICM) is located on the left front shock tower.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the engine air cleaner.

Speed Control Servo:





3. If equipped, remove the two speed control actuator bracket nuts.
4. If equipped, disconnect the speed control actuator connector. Position the speed control servo aside.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness mounting clip from the wiring bracket and position the engine gauge feed wire aside.
6. Disconnect the ICM connector.
7. Remove the two fuel filter mounting bracket nuts and move the fuel filter to gain access to the ICM screws.
8. Remove the two ICM screws.
9. Remove the ICM from the shock tower.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the ICM on the shock tower. Tighten the screws to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in).
2. Position the fuel filter bracket on the studs. Tighten the nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in).
3. Connect the ICM connector.
4. Connect the wiring harness mounting clip on the wiring bracket.
5. Connect the speed control actuator connector.
6. Install the two speed control actuator mounting bracket nuts.
7. Install the engine air cleaner.
8. Connect the battery ground cable.
