Assembly
Lubricate The Parts Shown:
1. Lubricate the parts shown labeled A with Disc Brake Caliper Slide Grease D7AZ-19590-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C172-A, lubricate parts shown labeled B with Ford High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AA or DOT 3 equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A.
2. Install the new caliper sleeve and brake caliper bolt dust boot.
3. Install a new rear brake operating lever boot.
4. Install the rear brake operating lever. Align the marks made during removal.
5. Install the rear wheel brake caliper spring.
Rear Disc Brake Caliper:
6. Install a new piston seal.
7. Install the brake connecting link.
8. Install a new 0-ring.
9. Install the rear disc brake adjuster spindle.
10. Install the snap ring.
Brake Adjuster Screw:
11. Install the rear disc brake caliper piston into the rear disc brake caliper bore and turn the brake adjuster screw COUNTERCLOCKWISE with an Allen wrench to pull the rear disc brake caliper piston INWARD. Turn the brake adjuster screw until it STOPS.
12. Install the screw plug.
13. Install a new dust cover.
14. Install the bleeder screw and the bleeder screw cap.
