Installation
Caliper Assembly:
1. Install the rear disc brake caliper onto the guide pin. Pivot the rear disc brake caliper over the rear disc brake caliper anchor plate.
2. Grease and install the brake caliper bolt. Use Disc Brake Caliper Slide Grease D7AZ-1950-A, or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C172-A. Tighten the brake caliper bolt to 34-39 N.m (25-29 lb-ft).
3. Install two new copper washers on the rear wheel brake hose banjo fitting.
4. Position the banjo bolt and the rear wheel brake hose on the rear disc brake caliper. Tighten the banjo bolt to 23-29 N.m (16-22 lb-ft).
5. Position the parking brake rear cable and conduit into the rear brake operating lever and the rear disc support bracket. Install the parking brake rear cable and conduit clip.
6. Tighten the parking brake rear cable and conduit adjusting nut so there is NO clearance between the parking brake rear cable and conduit end and the rear brake operating lever.
7. Bleed the rear brakes either manually or with Rotunda Brake Bleeder 104-00064 or equivalent. Refer to Brake Bleeding.
8. Install the wheel and tire assembly. lighten the lug nuts to 88-118 N.m (65-87 lb-ft).
